Baru-baru ini kecoh di media sosial apabila netizen mula berkongsi tentang kewujudan beras palsu yang sama seperti beras plastik. Menurut sumber, beras tiruan ini dihasilkan menggunakan campuran kentang, keledek dan plastik resin yang selalu digunakan industri dengan diproses sama bentuk beras asli.
Apa yang mengejutkan , pakar-pakar kesihatan dan pemakanan telah beri amaran bahawa memakan bijirin palsu itu, dicampur dengan resin beracun, boleh merosakkan sistem penghadaman.
Selain itu, kandungan berbahaya seperti bis 2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) dan diisononyl phthalate (DNIP) yang turut terkandung dalam beras ini akan menyebabkan kanser dan masalah pencernaan sekiranya termakan.

5) Harganya lebih murah. Tahukah anda, harga beras palsu adalah jauh lebih murah berbanding harga beras asli. Hal ini kerana peniaga ingin menarik perhatian pembeli untuk membeli beras tersebut.
