Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) mengumumkan pengenalan model pemasangan tempatan (CKD) bagi model Yamaha MT-09 Tracer. Model touring berkenaan merupakan model sesaran besar keempat yang dipasang di kemudahan HLYM di Sungai Buloh, Selangor selepas XJ6 series, MT07 dan MT-09.

Pengenalan model tersebut akan melengkapkan barisan model terkini iaitu MT-07 dan MT-09. Dijana oleh enjin 847cc penyejukan cecair, 3-silinder dengan pancitan bahan api, MT 09 Tracer hanya seberat 190kg.

Enjin CP3 berkenaan menghasilkan kuasa 115PS pada 10,000rpm dan tork maksimum 87.5Nm pada 8, 500rpm.

Enjin tersebut menawarkan kuasa tork tinggi dan dipadankan dengan Sistem Kawalan Traksi dan Sistem Brek Anti Kunci (ABS) sebagai ciri standard.

Gaya MT-09 Tracer ditingkatkan menerusi lampu berkembar dan penghadang angin yang tinggi bagi memberikan keselesaan tunggangan jauh ketika di lebuh raya.

Akan berada di pusat jualan Yamaha terpilih pada minggu depan, harga seunit MT-09 Tracer CKD ialah RM52, 000 (termasuk GST). Perbezaan harga sekitar RM7, 900 berbanding versi import (CBU). Bakal pemilik boleh memilih dua pilihan warna iaitu biru dan kelabu matt.
